The Begging Industry in India: In many rural areas of India, poverty often leads to large families where a couple may have four or five children. Sadly, in such circumstances, the safety and well-being of each child are not always guaranteed, and some children may be exploited. The lack of adequate resources makes such families vulnerable, and in some cases, children are kidnapped and forced into begging.
Forced into Begging: Many of these children, once kidnapped, are subjected to horrific treatment, including physical mutilation, to evoke sympathy and increase their earnings as beggars. This cruel practice creates a network of begging cartels, where vulnerable individuals, especially children, are treated as commodities.
A Call to Action: Roti Bank stands as a proactive step to counter this grim reality by providing food and support directly to the needy. By addressing hunger, Roti Bank not only seeks to meet immediate needs but also aims to reduce the dependency on begging, making it harder for exploitative cartels to operate. Every meal given through Roti Bank is a step towards reducing the prevalence of forced begging, giving hope and dignity back to those who deserve a better life.
Addressing Basic Needs: Roti, Kapda, and Medicine
The Essentials of Life: Food (Roti), clothing (Kapda), and medicine are fundamental needs that form the backbone of a dignified life. Lack of access to any of these can trap individuals and families in cycles of poverty and hardship.
The Role of Roti Bank: With Roti Bank, the initiative goes beyond just providing food; it’s about fulfilling essential needs to uplift lives. Through collaboration with community partners, Roti Bank is working to expand beyond food distribution, with future goals to provide clothing and basic healthcare support for the homeless and underserved.
Creating a Sustainable Difference: By addressing these basic needs, Roti Bank aspires to create a more sustainable impact, helping people move beyond mere survival and work towards self-sufficiency and stability.

TESTIMONIALS
Paritosh Shukla is a master storyteller!
Listen and learn from the man who has been there, and done that. Having battled a number of setbacks and hurdles himself, his sessions are full of wisdom and witty insights. Have attended his sessions more than once and what impressed me is his passion and drive to help and connect with others. He has more to give each time and you always come out feeling acknowledged and understood. Drink as much as you can. Whether you want to drink from a spoon or bucket all depends on you!
Paritosh was a breath of fresh air, during an otherwise difficult period. He was informative, and thought-provoking in his approach, and created an overall enjoyable atmosphere. It isn’t always easy trying to keep hundreds of participants actively engaged, let alone trying to do it virtually. Paritosh handled the session with relative ease. I am glad that my team and I had a chance to hear from him and look forward to future interactions.
Discovering happiness all over again!
Paritosh is a man with a zeal to share his experiences, mixed with a potion of fun, joy and immersive participation in his signature flavour. He helps explore the inner child who’s lost somewhere in the melee of life, and how we can find time out to rediscover our true north- inner happiness.
attended a session on ‘Discovering Happiness’ by Mr Paritosh Shukla. It was a great insight and great learning, covering the principles of happiness and getting into the basics of happiness- what are we grateful for and how it helps us. ‘Discovering Happiness’ is understanding why we are unhappy, 1% of the day (14 minutes), every day, how we can free ourselves from worries, and frustrations, and some exercises. It was an amazing session. Thank you, Paritosh.
