The campaign to “Preserve the Culture of Reading”

वाचन संस्कृतीचे जतन

has launched across Maharashtra under the leadership of Lt. Dr. Vishwas Mehendale, receiving an overwhelming response. Among the general public—elderly, women, young boys, and girls—the love for reading is gradually fading. The age-old culture of reading is facing a certain decline. Reading enriches our knowledge and provides insights across diverse fields, yet today’s younger generation is overlooking this value, believing everything is on the computer!

Namaskar Publications has made six magazines freely available for all citizens to enjoy: Bhavishya Ranjan, Rashi Ranjan, Mi Saundarya, Vastu-Tathastu, Aarogyam, and Shubh Yatra. You can call and order any magazine on a topic of your choice. Let us join hands in supporting this initiative to “Preserve the Culture of Reading” and reignite a passion for reading in everyone!

The Namaskar organization works actively in various cultural and social spheres. We aim to address everyday issues faced by ordinary people, such as challenges in government processes, civic obstructions, scams, and more. We have also launched the weekly Namaskar News Line to give voice to such concerns and prioritize these issues. However, these efforts are meaningless without the support of people like you.

In the cultural field, everyone is aware of the neglect faced by theater artists and Marathi theater. To help restore the lost glory of Marathi theater and bring the incredible talent of Marathi artists to the public, we have been organizing the Namaskar Festival for six years, presented free of charge. We plan to hold this festival during Diwali and start a weekly market to encourage various women’s self-help groups.

The promotion of reading, language, science, culture, and art is the mission of Namaskar!
